This book just meets with my needs.I have kept searching for a book which includes all the aspects of stem cell biology for a long time. The several principal characteristics of this book are as follows: 1. First gives general statements of stem cells and their developmental features. 2.Describes early stem cells development.3.Reviews stem cells in the 3 different germinal layers. The stem cells are now the hot research topic which attracts so many investigators in the world. Although there appears to be different properties in the variety of stem cells origination and their further more comprehensive development, the stem cells with these different features should share some similar develoment charateristics. So the advancement of studies in hematopoiesis can be instructive to the neruogenesis and vice versa. The logically clear explanation for some basic conceptions such as stem cells and progenitors makes it easily understood. I finally, give my sincere thanks to editors who have contributed their great efforts to this book.
